Travel: May 12 – 23, 2019
Courses: 2 options – March 15 – June 2, 2019 or May 12 – July 1, 2019

The primary goal of the course is to introduce students to cross cultural comparisons of sociological learning objectives related to the topic of social problems. These include (but are not limited to) education, economy, substance abuse, healthcare, homelessness, religion, and crime/social deviance. This program will have two term registration options for students with the travel occurring over the same dates for each term. Students may either register for the class during the Spring 0550 term with face to face instruction occurring prior to the travel abroad or register for the class during the Summer 0555 term with online instruction occurring following the travel abroad experience.
