Study Abroad with SPC in Costa Rica!
Vamos pal Chepe! (Let’s go to San Jose!)
Join SPC faculty for an amazing and educational program to Costa Rica.
We will tour San Jose, where you will learn about Lengua de Senas Costarricense (LESCO) or Costa Rican Sign Language. You will have the opportunity to visit Hands-On LESCO, where you will take a class with local instructors.
Visit the Asociacion Nacional de Sordos de Costa Rica (ANASCOR), where you will interact with local Deaf community and put your LESCO skill to use.
Explore the picturesque town of La Fortuna and take in the inspiring views of the majestic Arenal Volcano. Guided by an expert, you will learn about the natural wonders of this iconic region.
Available courses – Students must enroll in at least one course from the list below. Note: Please talk to an advisor to ensure you have met all college enrollment requirements and course prerequisites.
