Last month, students from SPC’s AS Dental Hygiene program had the chance to attend the Florida Dental Hygienists’ Association Symposium in Orlando.
St. Petersburg College’s Health Education Center held their second annual Break the Stigma event on Oct. 7 to educate future health care professionals.
The Spring Nursing Pinning Ceremony took place in May at Countryside Christian Church in Clearwater, Florida. The pinning ceremony is symbolic welcoming to newly graduated nurses into the nursing profession. The new nurses are presented with nursing pins and yellow rose by the level four faculty.
In May, a few nursing faculty members toured CAE Healthcare in Sarasota, Florida. CAE Healthcare delivers educational tools that help healthcare professionals provide safe and high quality patient care.
