ArtPrize will show Kevin Grass’ painting Not #MeToo: No More Casting Couch in the competition for a $200,000 prize juried by art experts. Grass is a professional painter whose work is exhibited both in the United States and Europe.

The St. Petersburg College Clearwater Humanities & Fine Arts Department is hosting the Calyx Schenecker Art Infinitum Pinellas County High School Exhibition. The high school arts exhibition featuring student work is on display from April 24 – June 7, 2018 at the Crossroads Gallery at the SPC Clearwater Campus.
Students of the Digital Arts and MIRA programs, as well as high school students in Pinellas County, submitted personal projects in categories such as photography, digital arts, and videography, at the 13th Annual SEmmy Awards, held at the SPC Seminole Campus in April.
Be part of the action in producing a musical at the SPC Theater Summer Camp 2018 for high school and college students. The program starts in May with performances June 29 – July 1.
St. Petersburg College’s Music Industry Recording Arts program welcomed The Sessions to The Palladium on Tuesday, Feb. 27 to speak to students, staff and the community about what it takes –besides musical talent – to make it in the music business.
St. Petersburg College Music Industry and Recording Arts and The Sessions are co-hosting a music industry panel discussion with special guest Chick Corea on Feb. 27 from 5 – 10 p.m. at The Palladium at St. Petersburg College. This event is FREE for SPC students. A $5 donation from the public is requested, with proceeds benefiting the college’s MIRA program.
The Career Services Department at St. Petersburg College’s Gibbs campus is hosting a Career Exploration Workshop for Arts and Humanities majors, or for those considering a career in the arts or humanities field.
