The 14th Annual SEmmy Awards took place at the Seminole Campus Digitorium on April 9. Digital Arts and MIRA St. Petersburg College students joined Pinellas County High School students in this annual multimedia competition.
Good Vibes Only Art & Music Festival will take place on 4/6, at 10 am at Williams Park in St. Petersburg. The festival is free and open to the public.
Broadway World honored the SPC Theater Department’s rendition of Urinetown, naming it as one of the Top 10 local theater performances in 2018. SPC graduate Chelsea Hooker was also highlighted for her stage and vocal performances.

A great networking opportunity for artists is coming up at the second annual Creative Career Summit on Sept. 26 at the Palladium Theater at St. Petersburg College. John Collins, Executive Director of the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance, will open the event with an overview of the economic impact of the arts in the St. Petersburg area.
The wood-fired ceramic artwork of University of Central Florida Professor Hadi Abbas illustrates the complexity and uniqueness of the oldest method of firing clay. The exhibit featuring his work is open from Aug. 20 – Sept. 26 at the Crossroads Gallery at the SPC Clearwater Campus.
