Tampa Bay New Skills at Work recently hosted a discussion to inform tech students on the value of Meetups. “I am always looking for talent to help with my side hustles,” said Mathew Thomas, Principal Software Architect at Malwarebytes. “Recruiters regularly attend our meetups to look for talent.”
TechCamp, a program that prepares junior talent for connecting to the technology sector through skill development, networking and portfolio development, recognized 16 graduates on April 26 at a networking event that culminated the 20-hour program.
