Science and Math Career Exploration Workshop

Attend St. Petersburg College’s Science & Math Career Exploration Workshop for those looking to major in the field:

The Career Services Department at the St. Petersburg/Gibbs Campus is hosting the workshop for science and math majors and those considering a career in these fields. This will be a two-part workshop with an industry expert answering questions during the first half.  Career Services staff will help prepare attendees for careers in these areas during the second half.

Expert advice

During the first part of our workshop, we will be joined by David Kolonoski, Academic Chair of the Math Department at the campus. Professor Kolonoski brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. He will be sharing valuable insights about the math field.

During the second part of the workshop, Career Services staff will provide tips that will help prepare attendees for their career choices. We will discuss the best ways to craft a professional resume geared toward the science and math fields. We’ll also share job hunting tips such as how much will I get paid and what are hot job markets?
