  • Learn about public service career options and the degrees and certificates SPC offers
  • Meet with SPC faculty and academic and career advisors from each community
  • Find answers to your questions

What is a Career and Academic Community?

SPC has organized 10 Career and Academic Communities that group similar majors together so you’ll benefit from:

  • Advisors who understand your program and know which classes you should take, and in which order to keep you on track
  • Find a closer connection between your degree and jobs in your chosen profession
  • Gain from the experience the faculty from your program bring to the table
  • Connect with like-minded students in class, clubs and out-of-class experiences
