Study Abroad with SPC in Mexico!

Listen to what Dr. Valerie Lanham have to say about the program in this short presentation, click here.

SPC students experience all that Mexico has to offer through the literature course of Folktales, Fairytales, and Legends. An exciting , cultured and chilling program highlighting the cities of Puebla and Mexico City.

Admire breathtaking views and beautiful scenery of Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl volcanoes and learn the legends that surround them. Cholula Pyramid – Mexico’s largest pyramid is in Cholula, a structure so massive that there is a church literally built on top of it. This building was dedicated to Quetzalcoatl the Feathered Serpent God of the Aztec pantheon.

Visit the La Casa Azul which is the Intimate Universe of Frida Kahlo. In this beautiful residence, the artist lived most of her life. Explore the mystical area of Callejón del Aguacate, narrow alley with street art & a shrine to the Virgin Mary, said to be haunted by a ghost.
