Become a Global Citizen

The Global Citizen Program (GCP) at SPC is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of a competent global citizen who is ready to live and work in a diverse world. The GCP entails curricular, extracurricular, and capstone components that students complete alongside their degree program.

The SPC Center for International Programs congratulates all of the following globally engaged students who received awards during the Student Awards Ceremonies on the Tarpon Springs (TS), Clearwater (CL), St Pete/Gibbs (SP/G) and Seminole (SE) campuses. Read more.

Requirements:

1. Curricular – 12 total credit hours (passed with “C” or better)

2. Extracurricular – At least one activity below

3. Career Integration

4. Medallion Project and ePortfolio

Upon successful completion of the Global Citizen Program, students are recognized as a Global Citizen and will be awarded:

  • A Certificate of Completion from the SPC Center for International Programs (CIP)
  • Global Citizen Commencement Medallion and SPC portfolio bag
  • A digital presence and resume that is ready for the competitive global economy
