Travel & Course: July 23-Aug 2, 2019
The primary goal of this course is to provide a firsthand experience to international business students on how to do businesses in Latin American countries. The students will learn about cultural and environmental differences between the United States, Costa Rica and other Latin American countries. The course will also touch on global monetary systems and the role of major international organizations such as the World Bank, United Nations, and the International Monetary Fund, among others.
Think you can’t afford to study abroad? Scholarships and other ways to fund your study abroad program will be available until July 2019.
Available courses – Students must enroll in one course from the list below offered in Costa Rica during the summer 2019 semester. Note: Please talk to an advisor to ensure you have met all college enrollment requirements AND course prerequisites.

Tonight is our last night in Costa Rica. The seven of us will all head our separate ways tomorrow morning. The friendships that I have made with my fellow chicas will last for a lifetime! 🙂 Can’t wait until we all get together for a reunion!
Good morning from Alajuela day 7 of our trip! We had a great 2 days visiting La Paz Waterfall Gardens, San Luis Canopy Tours and Baldi Hot Springs. Today is a much needed day of rest. Here is a picture of a beautiful sunset from our hotel.
Yesterday we headed to Care Britt for a tour of the coffee farm. Tino and Luis were great guides who kept us laughing the whole tour. We had a wonderful lunch of chicken creole, rice and beans, tortillas and tomato soup.
We visited the Britt coffee farm today here in Costa Rica. One of our classmates found out he could make $3.00 for filling this basket with 25 pounds of ripe coffee beans. We all left with goodies to take home.

Day one here in Alejula has been great. Our villa overlooks the valley and when it is all lit up it is simply breathtaking. Tomorrow we are off to San Jose to visit the Chamber of Commerce and do a little sightseeing.
