Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King – SPC’s MLK Days of Service

St. Petersburg College continues to strengthen its commitment to community engagement through its fourth Annual MLK Days of Service.

Please join students, faculty and staff as we serve our strategic partners, the Florida Dream Center and Keep Pinellas Beautiful.

SPC honors Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s dedication to service. Service to others is a fundamental element of developing citizenship, empathy & understanding. These pieces help strengthen critical thinking and help students secure a meaningful education.

As Dr. Martin Luther King stated so eloquently:

“The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education.”
