Do you have a question about your lease? Are you worried about an issue with child support or custody? Have you been injured in an accident? Are you considering bankruptcy? Do you have an immigration issue? Are you dealing with an arrest? Do you have arrests in your background? Are you unsure if your employer is paying you properly? Have you recently lost a loved one and need to know how to handle their estate? Are you a landlord with a problem tenant? Do you need help managing your debt?
As a student you need to be focused on being successful in your classes and getting the most of your SPC experience. Don’t just spend your time worrying about a legal situation. Let an attorney help you figure out what to do. Many legal problems can be mitigated, handled or even resolved within a reasonable period of time and at a reasonable cost. Don’t wait and stress. Get help!
The Legal Studies Society is bringing in volunteer attorneys to speak with students about their legal issues and provide assistance in resolving them. Local attorneys will be on the Clearwater Campus Friday, Nov. 13, to provide FREE legal advice to SPC students. There is no cost to SPC students. You will be able to meet with a licensed, practicing attorney to discuss your issues. All you need to do is come to the Social Science building, Room 160, on the Clearwater Campus between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Local, practicing attorneys will be at the college’s Clearwater Campus to answer questions about legal situations such as:
- Family Trouble
- Criminal Backgrounds
- Employment and Labor
- Personal Injury
- Expungements/Restoration of Rights
This event is only for currently enrolled SPC students.
