Deadline is passed.
Travel: May 13 – 27, 2019
Course: April 5 – May 27, 2019

The study abroad program to Israel in the biological sciences is to help expose students to different ecosystems and conservational/biological issues facing the country. This program will also offer students the opportunity to enroll in an online statistics class (STA 2023). Some of the activities include a dive to the Red Sea to discuss coral biology and threats to that ecosystem and a visit to the Negev desert to explore major flora and fauna.

NOTE: It is highly recommended that students are scuba certified and that they have had their last dive within the past 6 months. Diving certification is not a requirement as students can snorkel, but scuba diving will provide for better experiential learning and enjoyment.
