9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance- SPC Joins the Cause

Join your SPC family as we honor September 11th & the National Day of Service and Remembrance
SPC Students, Faculty and Staff will be leading and participating in a variety of events during the month of September to honor  the National Day of Service and Remembrance. The events begin at the Florida Dream Center on September 7th. A variety of volunteering activities to assist the homeless are being planned on that date. Events continue on September 11th with a gardening project at Lealman. Lealman is a very economically depressed community in Pinellas County and SPC has been working hard to form partnerships to help improve the community in this area. Other cleanup events include a park cleanups at the Lawn Bowls and Shuffleboard Complex  and Bartlett Park on September 15th and September 22nd as well as a beach cleanup on October 12th. If you really want to pump up those biceps, you may want to check out the various Habitat for Humanity events that we have planned on September 7, 14 and 28.
