SPC Downtown will be hosting two career events this month. The first event will be “How to Apply for the Future, When you have a Past” and it will be held on Thursday, April 10th from 11:30-1:00 pm in Room DC-210. Dr. Christy Powers, J.D., Instructor in Charge for SPC Paralegal Program will be the guest speaker and will assist students with addressing their “past” on resumes and in interviews. On Wednesday, April 16th Downtown will be hosting “Searching for Something: A Job Searching Strategies Workshop.” The workshop will be held from 1-2 pm in room DC-226. Topics will include job searching tips, keywords to include on your resume, resources, and answers to your questions regarding searching for a job, internship or volunteer opportunity.
