Public safety encompasses positions in various areas, such as criminal justice, crime scene processing, firefighting, digital forensics, homeland security, and emergency management.
If you would like to know more about this exciting field, don’t miss the chance to join the Allstate Public Safety Career Fair on Wednesday, Nov. 15, from 4-6 p.m.
Resume assistance, Interviews, internships, networking
This event, which is open to all SPC students and the public, will feature on-the-spot interviews and information about internship opportunities in public safety careers. In addition, attendees will have a chance to network with public safety professionals and agencies.
We encourage participants to bring their resumes and dress to impress! If you don’t have a resume yet, don’t worry. The Allstate Career Team can help you build your perfect resume.

Proper education and training are critical in the public safety field. Attendees will also have a chance to meet with Allstate Center’s Academic Advisors to explorer the various programs and training academies offered by SPC.
Some of the programs, such as the Crime Scene Technology Certificate and the Emergency Administration and Management Certificate, can be completed in as little as a year. However, if you are looking for a bachelor’s degree, SPC also features a BAS in Public Safety that can be completed fully online!
