Job Description:

The social media intern at Old Salt Fishing Foundation will be instrumental in managing community engagement, social media optimization and maintaining brand vitality and viability in the social sphere.

Responsibilities
·  Implement Old Salt Fishing Foundation social media strategy
·  Identify trends and engagement opportunities
·  Manage a content/update editorial calendar
· Aggregate and/or create appropriate content (written, image, audio, video)
·  Curate third party content
·  Schedule interviews with clients, partners, volunteers and staff as needed
·  Distribute content to various content websites
· Monitor and engage on various social media platforms
· Engage, as appropriate, social media inquiries and requests
· Internet research to find and engage with social media communications
·  Update Old Salt Fishing Foundation website content, as needed
·  Track and report on relevant website KPI’s
· Perform above tasks and others for client projects
