Florida can now add Technology Hot Spot to its list of favorable attributes. Data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, CompTIA’s IT industry Outlook 2014 report, and reports form Payscale.com all rank Florida as one of the top 10 States for IT Jobs.
This is great news for students who are interested in systems analyst, database administrators, software developers, network and systems administrators, user support specialists and web developers.
The College of Computer & Information Technology requires students in the A.S. program to complete an internship as part of their degree program. Since summer 2010, 50% of the students who serve internships in the IT field have been offered a position. Looks like the CCIT at SPC is a hot spot too!
