Immediate Opening for Part Time Graphic Designer Intern

This position requires at least two years of graphic design experience, and expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and QuarkXPress, on a Mac OS.

Under general supervision, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of all Achieva Credit Union creative elements and graphics. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for the overall layout, design and production design of advertisements for magazines, newspapers, journals, corporate reports, and billboards. This position will also produce promotional pieces, marketing and product brochures and newsletters. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for maintaining Achieva’s brand guidelines throughout all marketing pieces.

Direct Marketing & Graphic Design Internship – immediate opening

MailCo, Inc is now accepting applications for a Direct Marketing & Graphic Design Internship.

Job Description: Forward-thinking, company looking to hire an intern with strong knowledge and understanding of the digital media landscape, including various social media websites. Company is currently wanting to branch out in the social media sector for their printing/mailing services. The intern hired for this position will need strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail and willingness to work as a team. Intern will also assist sales department with production stages of the direct mail campaigns from estimating, design and mailing.

The project would best be staffed by two interns, one business student and one IT student, who would work as a team. It is desirable for both interns to have a working knowledge of website HTML code. Both interns should possess excellent interpersonal skills to work with and gain design insights from the American Stage organization.
Internship duration: Duration is dependent on interns time available. Ideally, the interns will have 4 to 6 hours minimum available per week. Maximum hours would be 10 – 15. Duration with those hours is estimated to be 8 to 10 weeks.
