Resume Writing Workshop:

When: November, 3 2015

Time: 12:30pm-2:00pm

Location: AD 115 (Career Services Lab located on the Clearwater Campus in the Administration building)

In this workshop you will:

  • Be introduced to our resume writing system: Optimal Resume
  • Discover how to construct an online career portfolio
  • Review and become familiar with a variety of resume samples
  • Recognize which resume style is best suited for you and your career choice
  • Practice interview skills and learn how to prepare a video resume
  • Learn how to use the Burning Glass resume tool
  • Create an effective resume or improve on the one you already have
  • Promote your career accomplishments via your own website

  1. Some might think that preparing a resume for internship in Hong Kong would be an easy thing to do. You take down your old CV, update it and voila! But it is not. Sure a great résumé helps, but what’s really at the heart of getting a job? It’s still establishing a personal connection to them because if you don’t, I’ll tell you, it’s a waste of time.
