On September 17, 1787, the U.S. Constitution was signed by delegates to the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Constitution serves as the supreme law of the land and is the framework of the United States Government.
September 17 was designated as Constitution Day to commemorate the signing of the Constitution and to encourage all generations of citizens and residents of the United States of America to celebrate and reflect on what it represents.
The Clearwater F.A.A.M.E. cohort along with the faculty and staff celebrated Constitution Day with the Honorable James Pierce as the program speaker and by planting 1,000 U.S. flags on the quad. The event was very momentous and enjoyed by all attendees.
