ADRIANA HULLAND
B.S. Degree in Public Policy and Administration

In Adriana’s neighborhood, going to college is not the norm. Her honest, emotional account of the struggles and joys she experienced as she persevered to earn a bachelor’s degree at St. Petersburg College is inspirational. While she will be the first person in her family to earn a college degree, she won’t be the last. Following Adriana’s lead, her mom and sister are now attending SPC.

“Before St. Petersburg College, I never thought I’d have a chance to make a difference in the world,” said Adriana Hulland.

PETYA GETSOVA
B.S. Degree in Public Policy and Administration

When Petya Getsova came to the United States from Bulgaria, she was very shy. Her involvement in student government at St. Petersburg College helped her come out of her shell and uncovered a passion for public policy. Today she works for the city of St. Petersburg and hopes someday to be an American ambassador.
