Hello, Titan friends. SPC Day kicks off on Tuesday, Sept. 12. This year, we’ll be celebrating the 96th anniversary of the founding of St. Petersburg College at our Clearwater Campus. We hope you can join us on this special day of celebration and family-friendly activities.
Also, on this day, friends, alumni, community partners, and employees can come together to support St. Petersburg College and our students through our day of giving.
Our theme this year is empowerment. Student empowerment equips students with knowledge, skills and resources, and opportunities necessary to take control of their own learning and personal development. It encourages a sense of belonging among students, allowing them to become active participants in their education and decision-making processes.
Your donation will have a significant impact on students in various ways by providing financial assistance, tutoring services, and access to food pantries and laptop lending programs. These resources remove barriers to student success and help bridge the gap for our students who are in most need.
Also, your donation strengthens student success by providing state-of-the-art classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and recreational spaces that enhance the overall education experience and empower students to access modern resources that facilitate their academic growth.
Our goal is to reach 396 donors. If we do, the SPC Foundation Board of Directors will collectively give a gift of $96,000 in honor of 96 years of service in the community. Join us in making a meaningful gift of any size in support of student empowerment.
Thank you. And go Titans!
