“Go kōhyō ni tsuki sai tōjō! Nihon” means  “Back by popular demand! Japan”!

The program every Titan is talking about is back! Join SPC faculty for the historic, educational and innovative program to Japan. This program will highlight the cities of Osaka, Hiroshima, Kyoto, Hakone/Atami, and Tokyo.

We will tour the Peace Memorial Park and Museum, a UNESCO heritage site. The entire park is dedicated to ‘remembering the drop of the atomic bomb’.

Visit the visit of the Great Buddha of Kamakura, which stands over 37 feet tall.

Explore amazing sites like the Gold Pavilion, the Inari Taisha Shrine., the Himeji Castle, the Hachimangu Shrine and various other sites.

Available courses – Students must enroll in at least one course from the list below. If desired, students may enroll in both courses. Note: Please talk to an advisor to ensure you have met all college enrollment requirements AND course prerequisites.

  • HUM 2270 -East/West Synthesis in Japan – 3 credits (#1347)
