Many people are fairly familiar with the role of the nurse, radiographer, and paramedic. Far fewer people know what Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) do. Because many students are not familiar with this profession, they do not consider it when considering a health care career.
In order to help people become more familiar with the excellent profession of Respiratory Care and St. Petersburg College’s (SPC’s) award winning Respiratory Care program, SPC will be hosting three info sessions in the coming months. These sessions are designed to introduce potential students to the profession of Respiratory care, the Respiratory Care program here at SPC, and Succeeding in Respiratory Care. Each session will be at the Caruth Health Education Center campus, located at 7200 66th Street North in Pinellas Park, and lasts about an hour.
The dates and times are:
December 13, 2016 5-6 PM Health Education Center (HEC) Auditorium The Profession
January 24, 2017 5-6 PM HEC Auditorium The Program
February 21, 2017 5-6 PM HEC Auditorium Succeeding in Respiratory Care
We hope to see you there!
