ADN Nursing Students Created a New Information Board

adn

As the Fall semester starts ADN nursing students created a new information board letting nursing students know about the huge benefits of belonging to their professional organization, the Student Nurses Association (SNA). Members of SPC’s SNA, Melissa Rosado and Savanah Cuthbertson, proudly show the board which highlights some of the many resources available from SNA to help students be successful. SNA offers opportunities such as community health issues, disaster planning, leadership skills, global initiatives, and scholarships. They have state and national meetings which are forums to help students network and learn leadership skills. The display board with more information is in the main hall on the second floor of HEC. To learn more about SNA visit http://www.nsna.org/

  1. A friend suggested I contact you to see if you can offer some help.

I’m bringing my Mom from Miami to St. Pete mid Oct. She has Alzheimer and is bed bound. I need some daily home care for her, and wondered if there were some nursing students that might be interested in making some extra money, and helping me at the same time.

Lots of different hours for you to choose from, and study in a lovely room .

Please let me know if there might be any interest in doing this. English and Spanish spoken here. I speak both, (I’m from Cuba), and my hubby speaks English (he’s from St. Pete), but can say “gracias”.

You can call me, and leave a message if no answer. (727) 551-9333 or email me
    dosleones@aol.com

Thanks a million for any help, even suggestions (if you have a relative interested) are welcomed.

  2. Hello Gigi,
I’m sorry but I won’t be able to assist you with this. SPC nursing program is a nursing program not a nursing agency. There are many well known agency in this area that you can contact. I would first start with your Mother’s primary doctor and then depending on her insurance carrier they may an agency they would recommend.
