The event is a popular one at SPC and has drawn hundreds of participants in past years.
Open House activities

Members of the public are invited to tour the state-of-the-art facility; learn about programs options and career opportunities; meet the programs’ dean, faculty, staff and advisors; interact through Veterinary Technician activities; and visit vendor tables to learn about a variety of topics and services available to pet owners.
Some of the many hands-on activities will include the opportunity to perform CPR on pets, examine blood samples under a microscope, and observe cat clicker training.

SPC offers both an on-campus and online Veterinary Technology A.S. Degree as well as a bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology. Also available through SPC is the Veterinary Practice Management Certificate.
