This event will take place on the Tarpon Springs Campus on Jan. 27 in the Fine Arts Building Auditorium from 12:30-1 p.m. It is open to the public.
It will include photographs of the life of the Nobel Peace prize winner from her childhood in Swat Valley, Pakistan, to becoming an activist for education.
One Book, One College program
The main goal of the One Book, One College program is to unite the college and local community under the enriching umbrella of literature. It seeks to spark in the college community an appreciation for reading and provide a safe and constructive environment to springboard conversation and activities based around a unifying book.
St. Petersburg College libraries have multiple copies of the book available to check out.
Some past titles named in the program include “The Art of Racing in the Rain” and “Etched in Sand.”
