New Scholarship Opportunity!!

The St. Petersburg College Foundation is now accepting scholarship applications for the Raytheon Scholarship! 

Completed applications must be received by  5:00pm on December 9, 2016 to be considered for this scholarship.   

Important:  When signing into the scholarship application, you will use your SPC email address and your SPC password.

How to Apply: Step 1: Go to http://www.spcollege.edu/foundation/scholarships.htm Step 2: Complete the general SPC Foundation Scholarship application Step 3: Be sure to click the Opportunities tab and select Raytheon Scholarship to complete your application Step 4: Click Apply

If you submitted an application for the Fall 2016 or Spring 2017 term previously, please log into your application and answer the additional question for the Raytheon Scholarship under the opportunities tab to ensure that you are considered for this new opportunity.

About Jeff Cavanagh

Jeff Cavanagh spent his freshman year at St. Petersburg Junior College back in the early 70s before enlisting in the United States Navy. Soon after, he attended Jacksonville University on a Navy ROTC scholarship. After college, he was commissioned and became a qualified Surface Warfare Officer spending the next 22 years honing his skills as a ship-handler and expert recruiter before retiring in 1994. Jeff expresses a deep sense of pride in St. Petersburg College due to connections that go back many years. His father, Tom Cavanagh, was a career Air Force fighter pilot and combat veteran who taught Geography and Western Civilization at St. Petersburg Junior College in the 60’s and 70’s.
