Inaugural Student Veterans Appreciation Banquet

Who: The St. Petersburg College Student Veterans Association

What: First Annual Student Veteran Appreciation Night (and banquet)

Where: St. Petersburg College, Clearwater Campus, 2465 Drew St, Clearwater, FL 33765, ES Building, Room 104

When: Thursday, 1800-2200 (6pm to 10pm), 21 April, 2016

Why: to inaugurate an annual banquet that will benefit student veterans, and recognize the new sacrifices and contributions made throughout their scholastic careers.  A successful secondary affect is to make all student veterans aware of the long existing national veteran organizations who exist to support us and the needs of our families. A successful tertiary effect will be to facilitate the recruitment of new, young veterans into these organizations.

If you do not already know; The American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars are two of the largest partners with and sponsors of the Student Veterans of America.  The SPC SVA chapter is just one small part of a national network of over 1,300 chapters who embody this 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
