Interested in exploring a technology career? St. Petersburg College will host a Career and Academic Communities Fair on June 19-22.

Explore technology career options at June 19-21 Career and Academic Community FairDuring this event, held over four days on eight SPC campuses, you can explore a technology career while you learn more about SPC’s 10 Career and Academic Communities.

Current SPC students as well as anyone considering going to college to prepare for a technology career can get started at this event.  During the event, you can:

  • Learn about technology career options and the degrees and certificates SPC offers
  • Meet with SPC faculty and academic and career advisors from each community
  • Find answers to your questions

What is a Career and Academic Community?

SPC has organized 10 Career and Academic Communities that group similar majors  so you’ll benefit from advisors with specific knowledge about the degrees and career options of your program, personal connections with faculty, relationships with other SPC students pursing the same career path.

If you choose an technology career or another path, SPC will make sure you take the right classes in the right order so you can graduate on time, ready to enter the workforce.

During the event, visit the Technology Community table, where you’ll see live hardware demonstrations and meet our faculty in the College of Computer and Information Technology, and discuss our exciting programs such as:

Technology Certifications

Ask about our Cisco, Java, Linuz Microsoft, Comp TIA and JavaScript industry certifications. At SPC the exam certification fees in networking, programming and security are covered.
