Phi Theta Kappa members on stage at awards event

Phi Theta Kappa Eta Nu Chapter St. Petersburg College’s Eta Nu chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society for Community College Students recently received an award for their college project – the creation of a mural on the Student Services building of the St. Petersburg/Gibbs Campus.

Six members of the chapter from the St. Petersburg/Gibbs, Downtown and Midtown campuses, traveled to Nashville for Catalyst, the annual international convention, held April 6-9.

The convention featured world-class speakers including Dr. Jennifer Arnold, photographer Platon, and Jamie Hyneman from MythBusters.

Students attended numerous educational forums and had the chance to network with PTK members from around the world.
