SPC scholarships offered to MYcroSchool Charter High Schools

MYcroSchool Charter High School hosted its 2018 Commencement Ceremony at the St. Petersburg Palladium Theater for their Pinellas and Pasco Campuses. On June 7, more than 60 graduates filled the stage, while their family and friends celebrated their accomplishments. SPC President Dr. Tonjua Williams announced at the ceremony that the Valedictorians and Salutatorians of the charter high schools will receive a $1,000 scholarship to SPC. The students are:

  • Jayla Dixon, Valedictorian at Pinellas MYcroSchool Charter High School
  • Jody Pike, Valedictorian at Pasco MYcroSchool Charter High School
  • Jeremy Godfrey, Salutatorian at Pinellas MYcroSchool Charter High School
  • Jalen Maldonado, Salutatorian at Pasco MYcroSchool Charter High School

“At St. Petersburg College, we’re in the business of making sure our students succeed,” Williams said.

MYcroSchool Charter High Schools are tuition-free high schools that offer flexible schedules, so students can work at their own pace and finish high school under any situation.

I am so proud of the 2018 graduates of the Pinellas County MycroSchool of Academics and Technologies! They rock! Welcome to SPC!
