Coming soon to the Tarpon Springs Campus Library and Learning Resources Center is a new Japanese-language manga collection!
The Tarpon Springs Campus Library and Learning Resources Center has been working to grow their graphic novel collection, and thanks to a very generous donation from Fred Oppliger, Adjunct Instructor of Communications, this section has been expanded. The Tarpon Springs Campus Library is now the proud owner of a substantial manga collection written solely in Japanese. These titles will be available for check-out and inter-library loan soon!
Currently the library has a collection of graphic novels and manga, but this is the first time we are able to offer a selection of these types of books written entirely in Japanese. Graphic novel and manga collections are popular in libraries and foster relationships with reluctant readers. Students who are interested in learning the Japanese language may find these books helpful due to the visual nature of the medium.

Stay tuned to the library’s Workplace and Facebook sites for further updates regarding collection availability and checkout.
