Hey Everybody! I know it’s been a while since I wrote my last post, but the last week of classes was really hectic and then I went and spent a few days in Ireland, which was great!
So rather than just talking about what I did the last week like I had for all of the other posts, I’m want to talk about the over all experience. To say that I loved this trip is an understatement. I think that I really grew as a person while I was there. Deciding to study abroad was by far one of the best decision that I have every made. Not only for me as a person, but as an educational standpoint. What could have been better than studying Shakespeare in London and going to see the plays that we’re analyzing in class in the replica of Shakespeare’s own Globe Theater? I have a whole new appreciation for Shakespeare from this experience. It’s amazing to see the places you read about and be there. It gives you a better understanding on the surrounding.
As for what I did the last week, we went on a couple of field trips I got to see Macbeth at the Globe, and I went on London of Oscar Wilde walking tour. A couple of my friends and I went to do our readings in Hyde Park on one of the warmer days and found peace in the cool shade of the trees. I was finally able to go see the Peter Pan statue that is there as well, which is something that I have always wanted to do. It was a really great last week, and this was an experience that I will never forget.
For one last time, cheers everyone!
