Enter the world of Australia for the Veterinary Technology Clinical Service Learning Practicum! SPC students will aid an organization that was formed in 2000 by concerned local marine biologists, veterinary health workers and scientists who recognized the need to rescue and rehabilitate sick and injured sea turtles. Students will be able to come to the aid of sea turtles during their experience, addressing their medical problems, nursing them to health, and when they are well, returning them once again to the ocean. In addition, while in Australia, students will network with the local veterinary community, the local zoo, and the students and faculty of the University of Queensland’s Veterinary Technology department.
Need to take the Clinical Service Learning Practicum Work Experience? There are only 3 spots left for this once in a lifetime journey to Australia!
