Hola Chicos!!
This has been an amazing experience so far and I am so grateful to be here in Salamanca. I arrived a week earlier than the rest of the crew and began my trip in Paris.
It is a beautiful place with so many things to see (got lots of pictures !!!). It was a little scary coming on my own, but the experience has helped me grow in so many ways. Needless to say, I was so excited to see the people from my school! My fellow classmates are great and we all love to have a good time. I hit it off immediately with my roommates, it’s like the 3 stooges……we have been almost inseparable since.
The people of Europe have been amazing!! Everyone for the most part is so helpful and friendly. Salamanca is a beautiful quiet city. The culture is so rich and passion radiates throughout the region. The architecture of the buildings constructed centuries ago are simply breathtaking, and at times you have to just stop and take it in. You have to remind yourself that this is all real and your in Spain right now, its definitely a mind trip.
I am excited to see what the next two weeks hold but at the same time I am torn because I miss my daughter immensely. It has been really difficult for me to be away from her, although I talk to her everyday, it is not enough. All I want to do is hold her, give her a big kiss, and tell her I love her (she knows:)) Its comforting to know, when I get back to the States me and her are going to have a blast. Mommy took the rest of the summer off to catch up with the family……yay!!!
The professors are fantastic and I am learning a lot. Our house-mom Lucy is the best house-mom ever another thumbs up!! There are some ground rules we all have to follow, but once we got use to them, everything went smooth. Well mi juentes…All I can say is, I am living the dream and loving it !! Adios, until next time xoxo….
P.S. I love you Ciara!! (HAPPY BIRTHDAY)
Love Always,
Jennifer Saccente
