Spain – I'm learning just by walking down the street by Hannah Stephenson

Hola Amigos!

The past five days here in Spain have been indescribable. The weather is perfect, the food is mouth watering and the city just takes my breathe away, to say the least.

I do have to admit, sleep is quite scarce! We’ve been busy busy busy! Everything from watching Spain win Semi-finals in La Plaza Mayor to touring the city and a beautiful Cathedral.

I don’t go anywhere with out my camera! My family and friends back home love all the pictures, I email them and it’s the best way to keep in touch. I miss them but it’s definitely worth it!

Salamanca, Spain

I share a room with two other students from St. Petersburg College. We have become like the Three Musketeers and I would be lost without them. I haven’t taken any Spanish so it’s hard to communicate here in Spain. One of my roommates is in the middle, she can speak and understand nicely! My other roommate is fluent which is such a big help!

So far, everything is going better than as planned. I’m learning just by walking down the street (which we do a lot here). We’ve been here a short amount of time, but I would already recommend visiting Salamanca, Spain, even if it’s just for a week!

Ciao!
