Earning psychology credit in Derry, Ireland! by Erin Hulse

Bogside Free Derry CornerToday class lasted from 10am to 12pm. It was an interesting class. We discussed how individuals change when their settings, or given roles change. It was mostly what would happen if “good” people were taken, and placed into “bad” environment. We also discussed religion, and how different religions saw each other and why. It was definitely a good topic, but controversial because we all had a different view and perspective of life. After class we decided to all stay together for a little while. We took a walk down into the city and did some light shopping. The group then visited the “Welcome to Free Derry” sign. This was a great place to have one of out group pictures taken as a destination we visited.

Every day so far has been beyond exciting, overwhelming, and adventurous. A day of peace and relaxation was very much needed to experience the city and see what else it has to offer. It was a great day, but I believe the group is ready for the next adventure. I believe this because we are well rested and excited to see what comes next!
