Study Abroad: A Dream Come True!

My dream since a small age was to travel, and experience the world out there. It was a dream that at many times I saw completely unreachable, and at the same time I never had the courage to motivate myself enough to fulfill that dream, until now.

Making the move to study abroad, was the best possible thing I could of ever done. Not only am I getting to experience a new culture, new people, new atmosphere but I’m also learning the roots of the beautiful Spanish language. I’m so thrilled to be here sometimes I wake up, and it still feels so unreal, but at the same time so magical. The fact that we are in such a historic, and remarkable country such as Spain still gives me goose bumps, but what mostly excites me is that we are in a city that has my last name “Salamanca” as it’s name. Yesterday we actually went to the University of Salamanca, the history and symbolism that dates back to the beginning of the University makes me want to come back to broaden my knowledge and continue my dream of traveling and experiencing new aspects of life in this beautiful city.

Thanks to the study abroad opportunity, I was able to fulfill one of my biggest dreams. Traveling to Spain, has open my eyes. It has showed me things that I never thought I would ever be able to see, I have met amazing people, I’ve learned a new and very interesting culture, and I have also bonded with my lovely classmates. Sadly, the three weeks are almost over with only two days left, but I have indeed enjoyed every single second of the day, every single day. This is an experience that will forever stay with me.
