“The Beauty of the World Lies in the Diversity of its People”
The St. Petersburg College Clearwater Multi-Cultural Club had its first meeting of the 2016/2017 school year. During the hour-long event, students got to learn more about each other and their diverse backgrounds, while also engaging in many fun activities, such as a flag quiz and a dance game.
Further, Saied Navab, Career Specialist on the Clearwater Campus, stopped by and spoke about the different career services offered and upcoming events.
Lastly, the club officers were introduced, and upcoming events were discussed. The members of the multicultural club are volunteering at different events, and are currently working on a fundraiser to ship books to Mali.
