We woke up early enough this morning to have time to rush off and grab a quick bite to eat before heading to the museum.
We ended up having breakfast at KC Peaches and it was delicious, also a great place for vegetarians/vegans. Alison was exited to find that they had iced mocha’s since she couldn’t seem to find one in all of Dublin (as to why she would want to drink something iced in this cold and rainy weather I will never know) but as she ordered one the waiter (a handsome one at that) told her that they were out of ice and that she should check back in a couple of days or stand outside and wait for it to cool down. It was like the shock of a lifetime for poor Alison.
Next we headed off to Trinity college where we learned that an Irish Professor named Ford was involved in a shoot out with four students and died consequently and that none of the students ended up being charged. One of the students became a religious figure and another two became pat of the English Parliament. Who would’ve thought?
We also headed to the National museum and saw many relics of the war between Ireland and the vikings. Natalie also came to this outing as she just arrived from NY after having to spend the night there since her plane was delayed. Afterwards Me, Shannon, Alison and Erin all OBVIOUSLY went shopping. Then we listened to some live music around Temple street. The performers are amazing and there is live music everywhere. Even though Dublin was great, I am extremely exited to head to Derry and see everything there is to see.
