Up and Down the Mountains in Spain

After lunch, Profesora Levin surprised us by taking us through the windy roads of town into the Teteria (tea house) for hands-down the best tea experience ever.  Fresh brewed tea along with a little pastry, great company, and flowers outlining the outdoor patio!

Nothing like coming home after a long day for some of our house chef’s Paella (seasoned rice with seafood / chicken)!  Our chef Maite even let us in on the recipe for this dish!

Headed up to Penia de Francia this weekend, unbelievably only an hour drive from the city.  Winding up and around the mountain or “Penia” was definitely surreal!

Down the mountain and into L’Alberca is our lunch area and a bit of shopping coupled with historic stories of tradition in this town that has a large French influence from the 16th and 17th centuries.
