Spain – Bitter sweetness by Arianne Pantin

Well three weeks has come and gone and it’s almost time to say farewell to Salamanca. Packing is hard but saying goodbye is even harder. I have to say this trip has definitely been amazing! I have learned so much and seen so much too. I will miss seeing the Plaza Mayor lit up every night as well as enjoying tapas and fresh squeezed oj every morning. The people I have met here and the friendships I’ve gained are some of the things I will cherish the most. I was fortunate enough to be apart of an amazing group of people who traveled to Spain to learn Spanish. We have gain so much more though. My final days will be filled with lots of pictures and shopping :D. After a final exam, one final excursion and one last walk to the Plaza, I will say “see ya later” to Espana. I will return one day and I can’t wait for that day to come. I want to thank all the professors and my awesome new friends for a wonderful experience I will never forget.

A bitter sweet goodbye to a gorgeous city.

Spain – Time flies! by Arianne Pantin

I can’t believe its been a week and half already. It feels like I just got here.

Salamanca is a beautiful city and people are so friendly…. for the most part 🙂

It seems like everyone is willing to help you better your Spanish, whether it’s correcting your grammar or pronunciation. Whether it’s hanging out in the Plaza Mayor, dancing all night, going for tapas or gelato with friends or checking out the historical sites, there is never a dull moment.

I’ve spent very little time inside except for school and doing homework.

I am so happy to have this opportunity to learn and grow here in Spain. It has been an experience so far and I can’t wait to see what the rest of my time here has in store for me. 🙂
