A long but incredible journey… by Tiffany Stafford

Today we woke up bright and early for a beautiful breakfast provided by Clarence House. I look forward to this breakfast every day because it prepares me for the day ahead. We headed on our adventure to Giants Causeway, and the rope bridge at about 8:30am.

I found its history to be fascinating. It’s cool to picture how it has changed over the years by erosion and weathering. The water looked like glass in contrast to the blackish basalt rocks. We climbed up the mountain of rocks like stairs. After this we took a long hike up the mountain which consisted of 162 steps! When making it to the highest part of the terrain the view was beautiful and the mountain air was great!

After our long walk back to the bus we headed for the rope bridge. Try to picture all ten of us on the bridge all at one time!I did enjoy the experience because it was a big adventure and I can come back to Florida with tons of pictures and a great story!

Today was rough at times, but the walking, wind, and rain was all worth it when seeing the gorgeous coast of Ireland! Tonight we will meet for a lovely dinner at the Flying Clipper which is a student run restaurant at Northwest Regional College. I am looking forward to a delicious meal!
