G’Day, Mate!

We’re now on day five of our trip! We arrived in Sydney, Australia at 10 a.m. Today, my roommates and I headed down to the bus to meet up with the rest of our study abroad group. We went sightseeing around Sydney. We stopped and shopped at Bondi Beach. After the beach we continued riding to downtown where the group split up into different directions. We decided to go venture out to the Sydney Opera House and had lunch at a cafe downstairs of it. Wow! The Opera House is amazing! It’s even more amazing in person than it was in all of the pictures. After we took our photos we descended down the stairs and had lunch.

How many people can say they had lunch in between the Sydney Harbour bridge and the Opera House?Not that many. The view was stunning.

We then rushed back to meet our tour guide, Mick. We were on a strict schedule because we had to meet up to enter the Sydney Wildlife Zoo! We entered and this was the moment we’ve all been waiting for… We finally got to see koalas and kangaroos! They had tons of animals that we’ve never seen such as wombats and echidnas. After the zoo we all met up for a group dinner. Sydney has been really exciting and I can’t wait to see what kind of adventures we have next!
