Today we arrived in London and it was immediately exciting. We boarded a bus to take us to our hotel and the driver pointed out notable sights along the way, which made it interesting. I began taking videos so that I have a video journal to post on YouTube at the end of the trip. It did not take long for our exploring to begin because after just a little bit at the hotel, we went off to Covent Garden.

My first purchase in England was an ice cream cone and then I watched street performers until it was time to move on. We went to dinner and had a fancy three course meal with the main dish being the famous fish and chips. Unfortunately I missed dessert because I had a play to attend. I should not say that it is unfortunate that I missed dessert because the play was incredible and the theatre itself was interesting.

I learned that an intermission is called an interval in England and they sell ice cream during that time. I bought some. We then took the tube back to the hotel and I found that my roommates were already asleep. I did not blame them.

One final thing I noticed was that there are very few trash cans in this city.

I look forward to the rest of the trip.
