Celebrate International Women’s Day with SPC!

Happy-Women-DayInternational Women’s Day, on March 8th, is a global day of celebration honoring the economic, political, and social achievements of women  past, present, and future.

In some countries, International Women’s Day is a national holiday while in others, it is observed more casually with the presentation of flowers and gifts to the women in people’s lives.

In conjunction with International Women’s Day 2015, SPC is hosting a movie night, showing the film “Women who make America”. This documentary series examines how women have helped shape America over the past 150 years, striving for a full and fair share of political power and economic opportunity.
