Ever wondered how you can travel abroad for free? The Boren Scholarship can help you do this! Boren Scholarships provide unique funding to undergraduate students wanting to study less commonly taught languages across the world. In exchange for scholarships and funding to study worldwide, the students awarded Boren Scholarships must commit to working in the federal government (national security arena) for at least one year.

These scholarships provide amazing opportunities for both community college and university students. The maximum monies awarded include: $8,000 for a summer program, $10,000 for a semester, and $20,000 for a full academic year.
